I need to make some corrections.William Dempsey that was born in Ireland in1720,died
in 1777 in Fincastle,Botetourt Co.Va.He was only married 2 times,to a Miss Gulliver 3 children:
1.William Dempsey Jr.b.1750 d.Jun.1806
married Jane DuBartis{We are getting the two
Williams confused.
2.Polly Dempseyb.1755-married Joseph Miller and lived in Licking River,Ky.
3.John Dempseyb.1760 in Patrick Co.Va.died 27
Sept.1830Logan Co.W.V.married Rachel Solomon
5 Sept.1788 in Fincastle,Botetourt Co.Va.
William Dempsey married when Mrs Gulliver Dempsey died.
Second marriage to Miss Meadows.That marriage produced 2 children 1.Elizabeth Dempsey
2.Mark Dempsey who married Mary Turner in 1788.
