If this is your Donald, you can get his Social Security Application from Baltimore for $7. It will list his parents, his occupation, address....in 1936.
The 1900, 1910, and 1920 Federal Censuses will have data on your families.
New York State had additional Censuses in
1895, 1905, 1915 and 1925.
Peekskill probably had City Directories every year or two.
The above information can be obtained from LDS Family History Centers.

You may hit it lucky if you correct your data and list more info, siblings, residences, more clues. If not you have to try the above.

Secor and Mansback are probably easier to trace than Dempsey. Good Luck
