I am the son of John W. Dempsey and Helen Louise Higgins. John W. was born May 21, 1918 and they lived in Greensboro, N. C. His father was John S Dempsey who was born in 1877. John S. wife's name was Alma E and was born in 1882. They had four children Sarah B, Lonie May, Marth M, and John W.
