Am searching for information on the Martin Dempsey (bd circa 1822 Ireland) family. He married Catharine Dempsey (bdcirca 1820 Ireland). I found them on the 1860 NY census in St. Lawrence County. They had six children: Thomas, Mick, Mary, Francis, Margaret, Catharine; all born in NY. Mary Dempsey (bd circa 1852 NY) married Patrick Rody. Mary's name is later listed as Virginia Mary.
