I have some DEMPSEYS in my family tree - they lived in Montreal during the mid-late 1800s. A Thomas DEMPSEY married my COOGAN (Mary) in the 1870s - they had several children. Most of them are buried in the DEMPSEY family plot at Cote des Neiges Cemetary in Montreal.
