I am looking for the father of Arthur "Doc" Dempsey. Arthur was born in Dublin, Ireland on 12 Apr 1812 and he married a Mary Ann Smith b. 27 Apr 1812. They came over to America a short while after they married. I don't know who their parents are or who their siblings might be. I think Arthur may have had a brother named William who might? have come over with them or shortly before or after. I believe they came to Chicago and then settled at Todd's Mill in southern Illinois. I have his children's names and on down from there. I'm more interested in where Arthur came from. I would be willing to share any information I have with others. Thanks in advance.
