I come from a line of Jeremiah Dempseys in Bandon west of your ancestors. I can trace my line in Bandon back to John in the early 1800's, Jeremiah born 1814, married Mary Deasy 1857, had a son by her John 3 years earlier, and my grandfather Jeremiah born 1857.(All in Bandon). There are no Dempsey gravestones in Bandon. Possibly we are related to the string of Jeremiah D's from Minane Bridge. Send me your family tree and I'll send you mine.
