It’s great to hear from you! Laurence Dempsey b.~1829 d.1892 and Margaret McHale b.~1820 d.1857 did have a son named Thomas; however, according to my records Thomas was born in ~1854 and died on January 7, 1911 in the Parish of Avondale in the County of Lanark at the age of 57. Thomas was married to an Ellen Carrol
