I am looking for parents, siblings, location of Hiram Dempsey born SC about 1796. Hiram is found in Weakley Co. TN 1850 census with wife, Elizabeth and children Hiram and Henry age 14. The younger Hiram is my ancestor. Civil War records give his place of birth as Sumner Co. TN. This Hiram migrated to White Co. IL by 1860, married there and lived in adjoining Saline County, IL at his death in 1902. Any one else searching this line? Probable siblings of the younger Hiram are John and James.
