My next door neighbor came from Dubuque, has
a 1996 phone book from there. Here are the
Dempsey's listed in it.Daniel J. & Robin,2637
Nebraska St.52001,Dawn, 1770 Amelia Drive.
52001,Don, 1142 University Ave. 52001,Don,721
Clarke Dr.52001,Donald 484 English Ln.52003
and M.2955 Kaufmann Ave. 52001. He also went
to school with a Tom Dempsey who went on to
Notre Dame and was an accountant. He has
lost touch and thinks this Tom died of CA
about 10 years ago. He would have been close
to 60 if alive. My Dempsey, Patrick immigrate
d to Canada in 1841 and to Long Grove, Ia. in
1851. If you ever run across any information
on this branch would appreciate hearing from
