Maybe a marriage or baptismal certificate? I have a William Dempsey in Perth County, Ontario who was born in Co. Wexford, Ireland about 1805. Your William could be his nephew. William (1805) emigrated about 1844. There is a question whether he lived in New Brunswick before he homesteaded in Ontario. Most of the Dempsey family around Clondaw was gone by 1850, as were many of the Redmonds that had intermarried with the Dempsey. There are a couple names that keep coming up - Fortune and Donovan/Donohoe. Does any of this information seem familiar? Notify Administrator about this message?
