I have also been told I am related to the boxer Jack Dempsey, that either he was an uncle of my grandfather, James Dempsey or somethin of that sorts. I believe my grandfather was also born in South Dakota in 1914, unfortunately I know very little about this side of my family, and am very curious to find out direct genealogy and relatives spannin out from the late 1800's until present day.Again his name was James Wendell Dempsey, I believe Wendell was a family name as well. Maybe you can help? Thanks- Jessica
