Some time ago I offered copies of some rare and interesting clan documents - quite a number of US based Dempseys contacted me and obtained copies. Through this initiative I contacted Bill Dempsey (some of you will know of him)and aso completed my own family tree which extends back to Heremon, first king of Ireland. Those of you who value the clan's early history may well wish to contact me at j.dempsey1@ntlworld.com for more details. This is not a business initiative - just doing my bit to communicate the history of our ancient clan to other Dempseys around the world.
