I am researching my family (obviously) and am looking for information on Andrew Dempsey who came from Sligo, County Mayo (I think) Ireland. He married Catherine Finnerty and they had a child named Martin, born in Ireland in 1864 in Sligo, and died in Philly in 1920. He married Delia McDermott and they had 7 kids: Michael, James, Catherine, Agnes, John, (aka Jack), Margaret, Mary.
Michael was my grandfather and he married Catherine Green and they had five kids, one of whom is my Mom, Alice. They lived in Philly their whole lives.
Any info out there?
