I am not a descendant, but my third great grandfather was brother to the wife of Absolum C. Dempsey (Elizabeth Bolton). Absolum was the brother of John. He was also pastor of the Mill Creek Baptist Church in Fincastle, Virginia for 40 years. I have a picture of Absolum (photocopy) that the church sent me.
