We have Dempseys married into our Hodnett family line. I have lots of names and dates, but no counties. I know they came from Ireland, our line beginning with a Thomas Dempsey and wife Ann Sutton. Thomas was born 1784, Ireland. They may have come into Canada around 1820or a little later. Ann died in New Brunswick, Canada abt 1880. In this line there are Thomas', Williams, Johns, Nathaniels, Elizabeths, Mary Anns, Sarahs, Janes, richards, Betseys, Marys, Georges, Claras, James, Lesters Murrays, Lottie and Louises, Harolds, Joannes, Barbaras, you name it, I think its listed somewhere. I just am short of counties and states or countries.
