While searching for info for John Allen Dempsey who married Susan Elvira L. Self about 1872, I found a marriage for a John Dempsey and Malissa Strickland, 10 Dec 1835 in Campbell Co., GA. This appears to be the John Dempsey and Malissa mentioned in the will and other documentation.

This is not the John Dempsey that I am looking for, tho.
