hi i have been searching info on a John Dempsey (my gg grandfather) I saw his name mentioned in my g grandfather's marriage info in the Logan Marriagesbook #2 1892-1913.This John Dempsey i have come to find out
is my gg grandfather instead of "Christian" that i thought.You must know how many John Dempsey's there were in
Logan and the surrounding areas,anyway he fathered my g grandfather Arnold s/o Phoebe Ellis,d/o Simpson and
Sara Jane Cartwright.If any of this sounds like a "john Dempsey"from your line please respond.I do think he was
related to the "jack"(the fighter) as grandma says "jack"stayed with them and worked on the farm while in between
boxing.PLease if any of this sounds familar contact me.My grandma is 84 and we are trying to find our roots.
