We are also searching for DEMPSEY in GA and AL. My great grandfather, William Jackson Dempsey was born in GA - in or near Cedar Town in 1820. He was in AL by 1860s and died in Franklin Co, AL in 1895. My grandfather was Marion Jackson Dempsey b. 1876 in AL
There are many of the DEMPSEY family in this area. I am searching for the name of William Jackson's father, mother and siblings.
I would like to exchange information with others researching DEMPSEY.
