My great grandprents (Alonzo and Bridget McGovern Dempsey), 1876-1948 are also burried in Stockholm, Mass. My grandfather (James A.), 1896-1985 was born in Stoneham and died buried in Andover, Mass. My grandmother was Jessse (1896-1961). My father is James A and lives in Livermore, Ca. I (James F) live in Albuqueruqe, NM. I have two half brothers Pat and Chris who also reside in Livermore. (Wow, 171 years of history). Are we related???<<
I am not familiar with any of those names. My immigrant ancestor, Andrew Dempsey came from Ireland to Lee, Berkshire, County, and after my great-grandfather was born, he seems to have disappeared. Andrew was married to Mary Shaughnessey.
