To add to the confusion, I have heard that my Grandmother, Maria Grazzia Mazzacco was related to the DeLuca's and then she married Thomas DeLuca b. 10-28-1866His siblings were Palmiero,Guy,concetta and Angeline Guy came to Northeast Ohio and Palmiero went to France, married, had 1 son and his son had 1 son who died in childhood so when the first son died that was the end of the line for the DeLucas in France. (They had come to spell the name DiLuca)Have you been able to connect with researchers in Castel ? I keep running into dead ends. Please let me know if you find a library, historical society or individual who will research there. Thanks, Grace
