I am presently viewing microfilm for the village of Collepietro. I have not yet seen the De Menna surname. If I do, I will contact you.

I suggest you go to this website to try to locate from which city your ancestors emigrated:

It will show you where in Italy the surname De Menna exists today and there are some--mainly along the Abruzzi coast. I suggest you then try the Italian white pages to determine which cities these are--you will need a list of Abruzzi communes (try the Abruzzo 2000 website). Use the white pages to make sure there are also DeLuca's in the same town. Then I would check the LDS resources to see if they have civil records for the town(s). Since you have a date for Anna, you should be able to find her birth record which will contain her parents' names and their ages. This will help you estimate where to look next.
