Hi Joe,

I would be interested in anything you can tell me about your branch of the DeLuca's. I would bet money our branches are related.

Francisco was born in 1857, married in 1883 and came to U.S. with bride in 1884. Don't know his parent's names. Always heard he had a married sister in New York. Don't know how many brothers or sisters he might have had. He named oldest son Paul and oldest daughter Rosa. Other children were Mary, Jasper (Gaspar), Vincent, Lizzie, John, Sam, Joe, Frances. I mention the oldest because of the custom of naming them after their grandparents.

He married Petrina Merendino. Her family owned olive orchards.
