We do have a lot of information on the Delozier family. Our records show that Guilford was born in 1810 in TN and died on Oct. 13, 1838 in Roane County, TN. His parents were George Delozier (1784-1808) and Perina ROUDEN (1783-1849). We are not positive about George's parents, but his grandparents were Edward & Ann Delozier.
We think that George was the probably the son of Jesse and an unknown first wife. We also think that George's brothers were Asa Deloizer, who married Rebecca Cunningham and Jesse Delozier, who married Dianah Thompson. We don't know of other members of the family at this time.
We believe that George's father Jesse second wife was Alsey Fields and that they had a son Edward who married Elizbeth Poindexter.
This has not yet been fully documented but is our working model until something is proved.
I would love information on your family from James Abraham Garfield "Jim" (1882-1957) and his wife Bertie Wakefield on down. We don't have any information on them.
