Thank you for responding to my posting. I really only spend my time doing genealogy in the winter months and the summer biking and outside. I am always happy to hear from a relative and I have made some wonderful contacts in every family branch from my grandfather's brothers and sisters. I have shared most of my information with others, and many have posted my work on their websites. I have never made a website of my own.

I would like to share with you directly. When I was in college in 1972 I visited your great grandmother, Artie, with my grandfather, Voit. It was the last time they saw each other, but I know they were very close throughout their lives and especially as children. I have some old photographs of your grandmother, Owen Gayle as a young girl, our common great (2x for you) grandparents, Amos and Laura Hudspeth and also of our 2x and 3x (3x and 4x for you) grandparents, which would be a rare find. It is rare to have photos of a grandparent 4 generations back.

I calculate that you and I are second cousins once removed and you father and I are direct second cousins.

I am happy to share with you the family information that I have from our direct line that may not be on the web.

My direct email is: raning2@msn.com

I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Randy Hudspeth
