Frances was the daughter of George Dyer and Rachel Dalton.

Buried: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, about 7 miles.
South of Calhourn, Mo.
Edward DeLozier and his wife, Frances (Dyre) DeLozier, came in a covered wagon drawn by oxen from South Carolina to Tennessee where they had many relatives. Some of the older children were born in South Carolina and came with their parents to Tennessee. With one exception, the rest of the children were born in Tennessee. Joseph Jackson DeLozier was born in Kentucky. He was the youngest of the 20 children. They migrated from Tennessee to Kentucky and then to Missouri where they lived on a farm ne Gerster, Missouri.
Of the 20 children, we know the names of 16; four of them died in infancy. We were unable to assemble:
