Lethalu, I have a large Deloney genealogy and it includes many family references to a French connection. One indicates that an ancestor fought in Nepoleon's army and later came to the US. I have not found a direct link to France in my genealogy but have not looked very hard for it either. I have found two major Deloney families in the US; one coming to the US through Canada and was the first director of the Grand Teton National Forest. The other family came into Virginia and migrated south for the most part. That is my line. Do you have a genealogy of Deloney's in the US and do you have a direct connection to France in your genealogy?
