Lou Ella:

I was just working on my Stone family genealogy and one of the individuals I was looking at was William DeLong. William and Elias and their sister Elizabeth were children of Elisha Delong and Mary Stone. Elisha was the son of James Stone, while Mary was the daughter of Rolly and Elizabeth Stone.

Elisha and Mary were married in Laurens County, South Carolina and later moved to Jones County, Georgia. From there, some of the family moved to Jefferson County, Alabama. William married Caroline Reid on 3 December 1841 in Jefferson County, Alabama. His sister, Elizabeth married there on 8 November 1849 to a man named Amos Biddy, and Elias married in about 1848 to Melissa Campbell in Alabama.

I have some additional info if you are interested.
