Smith DNA shows Delong connection
Posted by: dorothy smith (ID *****5665) Date: March 01, 2012 at 10:57:28
  of 1842

My husband rec'd DNA results showing connection to Delong bloodline.
The earliest info passed down gives William Smith born abt 1741 ?Ireland, came to PA abt 1748.
Married Miss Fields (unk date or place)
children: Irene, Mary and William Jr.
Wm Jr born abt 1774 PA. married Mary Rogers (unk date or place) Wm's children show born GA and some Warren Co. GA.
Some of WM Jr's children went to AL, Sabine LA and on into Guadalupe Co. TX

Somehow the Delong bloodline and William Smith Sr. are connected, but how we can't imagine.

Was he a Delong that was adopted and took the Smith name????

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
