It has been brought to my attention that Jacob Delong may be my GGG grandfather. Does anyone know what caused the break-up of his first marriage?
From what I have learned about Jacob's character, he may have fathered children prior to his second marriage. My GG grandfather was born in 1803 in Quebec near Montreal and there has been mention of a native connection with his mother or her parents.
