This is very interesting. I'm sure we are talking of the same person because Joseph Delon was also born in Sacketts Harbor in 1805. At the present time I am having computer problems and can't hook up to the internet at my home office computer. As soon as I get this resolved, I will post another message with more info. For now I can tell you he was the son of John Delon who died October 23, 1853 on the Oneida Reservation near Green Bay, WI and Dianah ? who died March 29, 1869 on this same reservation. If we are sure of a connection, we can share files at a later date.
