Good news for descendants of Indian Creek George Dellinger of old Lincoln County, NC: the DAR approved him earlier this month (February 2012) as a Revolutionary War Patriot (Ancestor no. A208235). Male descendants, of course, are eligible for SAR.
The North Carolina Dellingers have a solid presence on the DAR Patriot Roster: Philipp Dellinger and his two sons Henry and John; George Dellinger of Leepers Creek; and now George Dellinger of Indian Creek.
