Don't know if your still on, but it sounds like we might have a connection. Unfortunately, I can't help you with William's descendents. I have a William A. Dell born about the time you said in Pa. His brother, James, is my Ggrandfather. James was born in Somerset Co, Pa., so I'm guessing that his siblings were also. I have James dying in Acme, Pa. but may be buried in Cross Creek, Pa. According to my uncle there are a lot of Dells buried at a cemetary there. I hope to get over in the spring and check things out. If we are talking about the same family, William's parents would be Godfrey Dell and Lidia/Lydia Bowman. According to the 1880 census, Godfrey was born in Prussia which encompassed most of Germany at that time. I was always told that my line fo Dells were German. I also just found out that Godfrey's parents were Christian and Mary (Phillippi) Dell and that they are buried in Lavansville Lutheran Church Cemetary in Somerset Co. Pa.
