I was interested in your one name study because I have come to a halt in my DAHLE research.
My grandmother, MARIA SOPHIA DAHLE, was born on March 7, 1865 in the Province of Hanover, but I can't find the town.
Maria's parents were HEINRICH FRIEDRICH ANDREAS DAHLE, born March 1, 1827 in Vienenburg, Lower Saxony, and MARIA DOROTHEE CHARLOTTE LIPPMANN, born June 14, 1825 in Osterwieck, Lower Saxony.
Heinrich was the son of JOHAN HEINRICH ANDREAS DAHLE, born 1792 in Harlingrode, Lower Saxony, and JOHANNE MARIE LUZIE HARTMANN, born June 14, 1794 in Vienenburg, Lower Saxony.
Could Dahle be Dell?
