I am working on the Dell family with various spellings in Germany and have found records for different families showing the town of Homberg. There are several Hombergs in Germany and I am trying to identify which one(s) of these are involved with the family names. If anyone can identify their Dell (sp) family with anyone of the following Hombergs, please respond.
1. Homberg an der Efze - Hessen - fairly large city
2. Homberg on the Ohm - Hessen
3. Homberg near Marburg - Hessen
4. Homberg Rhineland Pfalz (Westerwald)
5. Homberg Nord Rhine Westphalen (Mettmann)
6. Homberg Rhineland Pfalz - near Idar Oberstein
7. Homberg Baden Wurttemberg - near Ravensburg
8. Homberg Baden Wurttemberg - near Konstanz
9. Homberg Unden Cappeln - unknown - there are Cappel, Cappeln, and Kappeln in Germany.
