Just a little more detail to add to my message I left yesterday. You would descend from the following: John of Holsworthy, Devon,England. His son Rev.Thomas Dell b. 1696 Devon, England. Thomas' son Philip Dell b. 1724 d. 1803 m. Nancy Bennett. Their child Joseph Dell b. Abt 1753 d. Abt 1803 m. Martha Maxey. Joseph and Martha's daughter Martha Matilda Dell b. abt 1800 m. William Colson abt 1832. Another child of Joseph Dell and Martha Maxey was Bennett Maxey Dell b. abt 1794 Screven Co., GA m. Penelope Love b. abt 1817 d. 1832-1837. Bennett Maxey Dell's 2nd wife was Williamina Downing. Bennett Maxey Dell and Martha Matilda Dell were siblings. That is how you come by the mix of Dell/Maxey/Bennett names.
