My JOSEPH DELL was born in Alsace-Lorraine or Bavaria, Germany. He immigrated to the US in 1954 at the age of 22. Upon arrival he married fellow passenger Theresa Schmidt and they settled in Des Moines Iowa where they raised their family. He died in 1898, she in 1919.
