Actually he was baptised as Joseph Dolor DELINE on June 28, 1862 at St. Edouard Parish, Napierville, Quebec. The original family surname was EDELINE, but the parish priests eventually changed it to DELISLE, sometimes with variations in the years between. His father, Antoine Deline/Delile/Delisle was buried March 5, 1886 at St. Antoine Abbe, Chateauguay, Quebec and the mother, Esther Barette/Barrette was buried Jan 1898 as St. Antoine Abbe.
