Hi Susan: I am searching for information on a Isaac DeLisle who was a French trader and who m. Yen Acona a Cherokee woman and together they parented a John Welch (I'm told the Cherokees and other indians often took the sir names of people they greatly admired. John Welch m. Elizabeth Blythe. John was born 1783 and d. 1857 and theylived in Marble, Cherokee County, N. C. Would you have any infomation on this Isaac DeLisle?
