Just saw this online, nearly 4 years later. I was Terry's first wife. He and his second wife Geri also were divorced. Terry had no children and no siblings. All he had was his mother, after his father passed away. Nevertheless, at my insistence, we had a funeral for Terry and his mother. It was a lovely turn out; many people Terry used to work with at the Louisville Police Dept. attended. As far as I know, and as you have probably discovered by now, Terry had no living relatives. Sorry I did not find your note sooner.
