I was wondering if anyone has come across a marriage in probably Scotland pre 1800's between a DeLisle and a Douglas.Up to and including my Grandfather has had their name end with DeLisle Douglas. Every male that I have found in this family from 1800 (which is as far back as I have right now),up has this in their name.I know my Grandfather was very proud of his name, but being young at the time, I didn't ask where it came from. Any suggestions or help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
