I am trying to find my family ancestry on my Dad's side. His father was Andrew Napolean DeLisle, born 9/11/1895. He died in Frenchtown, NJ, I do not know when.
He married Irene Bertha Lamite,born in Holyoke,Mass on 2/4/1899. Her parents were Dana Lamite and Rosemarie Carden. This all I have on them and I am not sure if it is correct.
Andrew and Irene had 2 sons, Conrad Napolean DeLisle born in Canada in 1921, and Dana DeLisle.
They were divorced and Andrew remarried a woman named Veranda.
My grandfather Andrew served in WWI and became a citizen of the US, prior to that he was a citizen of Canada. I know that he was inducted on 4/27/1918 at Holyoke, Mass Served as a Private in the US Army Battery D 303 Field Artillery. Stationed at St Mikiel Sector (Loroaine). Service overseas in France Sailed from US on July 16, 1918 and arrived at port on return to US on June 14, 1919. Unit was demobilized.
Due to his serving in the Army, He was given a US Citizenship certificate.
Irene remarried Arthur La Bonte and they had Janette and Yvette.
I have no other information on my grandparents. I do have some pictures but I would like to find some information on them and their ancestors. Can you help me?
