I have page 316, 317 from Spanish Archives of New Mexico that mentions many Delgado names including Jose, for which it is possible you
are named for if he was your great or grandfather. The first Delgado referenced
is Manuel Fransisco born in Pachuca, Mex.1738
His mother and father were from Spain.
