I seek info on the ancestries of Andres de COTA b ca 1709/maybe El Fuerte, Sonora, MX who m Angela de LEON. Extant records show Andres served in the Spanish colonial military. One of his sons was Roque Jacinto de COTA who was one of the Spanish soldiers who led the Pabloadores to the founding of the [fabulous] city of the angels--Los Angeles, California in the 1780s. I have nothing on Angela de LEON'S family!! Can anyone help?
