Pauline, thanks for responding. I am related, but on a collateral line. My Charles Applegate was brother to your W. Jesse, whose daughter Rozelle married Charles Putnam. Their daughter Lucinda married the DeLauney. One of your cousins is from Jesse's line, too, and we are trying to fill in some of the family's "lost" lines (at least lost to us).
