In Reply to: I need info on Delaune Family History by Linda Rutland Breeland of 147

the info I have- Christophe DeLaune (born; 1751, France) married to :
Marie Boudreau (born; 1755, France)

Children:
Pierre (b: 1778, France)
Marie Celeste (b: while on ship??)

Immigrated to United States on one of the Seven Acadian Expedition Ships of 1785

There are 3 DeLaune families on the passenger lists of these ships.

My family is believed to be descendant of these, however, the name was "Americanized" by census takers to DeLones, & also G.Lonas
in early census records.

at this time, I cant rememberthe other 2 DeLaune families that were on the 7 Acadian ships from Novia Scotia to USA.

D. Clem
