A Pauline Grace DeLauter Fry uncovered evidence of a David DeLattre, christened in 1700, married a Anna Elizabeth Geringer September 17, 1718, and they had five children, Johann Nicolaus b. 1724, Christina b. 1727, Johann Henrich b. 1731, Maria Catharina b. 1738 and Phillip Lorenz (Lawrence) b. 1740.
As I have mentioned the David DeLattre who settled in Frederick County Maryland arrived on the St. Andrew October 2, 1741. His age was listed as 31 years of age, which means he was born in 1710. If this David DeLattre was married to Anna Elizabeth Geringer his age would have been 8 years of age, (1710 – 1718 = 8), at the time of marriage, which is highly unlikely.
The will of David DeLattre (DeLader) probated on February 18, 1767 mentions George William DeLader, (my eldest son). George William DeLader was born 1732/34 which is between the births of the first three children and last two children of Anna Elizabeth Geringer. I seriously doubt David was married to two women at the same time.
