The information I have show that the following Delauder's were in the War Between the States:

Sgt Samuel Delauder: Company B 18th Va Cavalry.
Abraham Delauder: Company B 18th Va Cavalry and later Company F 14th Virginia Militia
Amos Delauder: Company B 18th Va Cavalry and later Company F 14th Virginia Militia
Jacob Delauder: Company B 18th Virginia Cavalry
John Delauder: Company B 18th Va. Cavalry
John Delauder Jr.: Company B 18th Va. Cavalry
John Delauder: Company F 14th Va. Militia and later the 62nd Virginia Mounted Infantry.
I do not have all the battles that they were involved in. In the Confederate Army unlike the Union Army a soldier would bring his own horse. Therefore I would assume that these Delauder's were wealthy enough to have there own steeds. Most were recruited from Hardy County (Va) W. Va.
