I am a direct descendant of Pierre Delattre through his son, Antione Francois Joseph Delattre and his wife, Marguerite LeJeune, and my line comes through a son of Antoine Delattre, Antoine Louis Delattre, who was married to Catherine Elizabeth Clerot on Feb. 27, 1753 and secondly to Doretha Rodriguez on December 24, 1790, and their son, Noel Delattre, who was married to Marie Josephe Rodriguez on June 20, 1796 and he died on Octoer 2, 1811, and their son, Jean Anatole Delattre, who was born June 3, 1820, married Azelie Constance Pauline Hebert on January 178/18, 1844 and he died March 17/18, 1888, and their son, August L. Delattre, who was born October 18, 1856, married February 24, 1876 Emerante Schexyander, and died on November 14, 1879 at 23 years of age, and their son, Otto Michel Joseph, who was born February 3, 1879, married Lelia Hebert, died February 1940, and their daughter, Ruby Gabriel Delattre, born September 14, 1918, married January 21, 1951 Frank R. Courts, died June 26, 2003, and Katherine Ruby Courts, born May 11, 1952
That is my line of the Delattre family. My line of the Delattre family came to live in St. Mary Parish in the Patoutville area after the Civil War when Jean Anatole Delattre and his wife, Pauline, moved from the Lafourche area to St. Mary Parish, and the Delattre family of Jean Anatole Delattre lived in St. John the Baptiste Parish.
