I have been searching also; however, I do know that he was father of Antoine Francois Joseph Delattre who immigrated to New Orleans Louisiana in Aug 1720. I have seen trees with him being from Douai France (northern France almost to Belgium. I actually went to Douai this September, all the archives were closed so I just got to walk around. An old coal mining town that is also known for the "Douai Bible". There are still some Delattres that live in Douai. My next quest will take me to Arras, the bisphoric of Douai and the National Archives in Paris. Charlene
